Strawberry, Honey and Cinnamon Layered Cake

Serves: 8

Ingredients:

  • 1 x 20cm good-quality double vanilla sponge cake
  • 1/2 cup almond or hazelnut flavoured liqueur
  • 300g King Island Dairy Honey Cinnamon Yoghurt
  • 200ml King Island Dairy Pure Cream
  • 1 punnet strawberries, sliced
  • icing sugar, to dust

Method:

Slice sponges horizontally in half and brush each layer with the flavoured liqueur. Combine King Island Dairy Honey Cinnamon Dairy Yoghurt and Pure Cream and spread the first layer with 1/4 of the yoghurt cream and top with strawberries. Repeat layers three times more. Dust the top of the cake with icing sugar before serving.
