Whisky Cream Syllabub
Serves: 4 - 6
Ingredients:
600mL King Island Dairy Pure Cream
2 tblspn castor sugar
Good dash of whisky
Juice of one lemon
Method:
1. Dissolve the sugar in the whisky and lemon juice until you have a delicious whisky-flavoured syrup.
2. Allow to cool. Whip the cream until thick and frothy, and carefully stir in the syrup. Do not use electric beaters.
3. Serve with warm poached pears or pour into small pots or glasses and refrigerate before serving.
