This Black Label cheese is named after the location of the dairy, Loorana Brie cheese is handcrafted in the traditional Brie de Meaux style and size.
  • Loorana is hand cut and stirred allowing the cheesemaker to feel the firmness of the curd
  • The golden exterior comes from a delicate process where the cheesemaker rubs the brie by hand with brevi to remove the virgin blooms of the white mould
  • This Brie cheese ripens from the outside resulting in a complex flavour with a delicately soft and velvety interior
  • While the cheese is young it is more savoury but as it matures the brevi flora accentuates its earthy notes
